Updated
This policy covers Marriage Point Calculator, built by Sijan Joshi. Scorekeeping is local; live sharing and optional SDK reporting have separate data behavior.
Local scorekeeping
Player names, groups, tables, round inputs, scores, revisions, drafts and recorded payments are stored in a local SQLite database. Preferences stay on your device. No account or payment service participates in score calculations or local writes.
Optional live sharing
If you enable live sharing, the app publishes the game title, player names, totals and round count to an expiring, read-only Firebase room. Notes, audit history and backup files are excluded. An anonymous device identity authorizes the host. Anyone given the sharing code can view the room until it expires or you revoke it.
Backups and exports
JSON backups contain names, round inputs, revisions and payment records. Text, CSV and image scorecards can anonymize player names and the table title. Sharing sends the artifact you choose through your device’s share sheet. OS cloud or device backups may include data according to your device settings.
Reporting and advertising
Usage analytics and technical crash reporting are separate optional settings, disabled by default. Reporting calls use event counts and categories; they do not supply player names, notes, balances or backup payloads. Google Mobile Ads and consent surfaces are included with test ad IDs in the current build. Builds that load ads may process identifiers and interaction data under Google’s policies.
Third-party providers
Firebase provides live rooms, anonymous authentication and optional reporting. Google AdMob provides ads where enabled. These providers may process data internationally. We do not sell your scorecards or player records.

Deletion and retention
Deleting a session removes its rounds, drafts, revisions and recorded payments. Deleting all scorekeeping data removes players, groups, tables and payment records, while display preferences remain. Archiving a player preserves their identity in earlier tables. Delete exported backups separately. Uninstalling may remove local records, so keep backups. Revoke live rooms when no longer needed; contact support for requests about cloud records or messages.
Security and international processing
Local data is protected by your device’s own security. Online providers may process data outside your country. No system can guarantee absolute security; keep your device updated and use care when sharing files or invite links.
Children and privacy rights
This is a general-audience product. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or below the applicable local minimum age. Contact support if a child’s data was provided without appropriate permission. Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal data, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data protection authority. Contact support to exercise these rights; we may need to verify your request.
