Made for everyday use

What Leafmark does.

01

Keep a personal library

Import your files and organize them with collections, tags, favorites and reading status.

02

Read your way

Adjust reflowable text, choose a reading theme, and return to your saved position. PDF and comic controls reflect their page-based layouts.

03

Listen and learn

Play local MP3, M4A and M4B audiobooks with saved positions, speed and sleep controls. Use offline text-to-speech and the bundled English dictionary where text is available.

04

Keep what matters

Save bookmarks and notes, search your notebook, and export notes as Markdown or JSON.

05

Back up before changing devices

Export your library as a manual backup. Books and notes are stored locally; automatic cloud synchronization is not provided.

Getting started

A few simple steps.

  1. 01

    Start with a sample

Try a bundled original sample without creating an account.

  2. 02

    Add your own files

Use the file picker or share an authorized file from another app. Protected bookstore files cannot be decrypted.

  3. 03

    Read, annotate and back up

Return to saved reading positions and export a backup before uninstalling or changing devices.

Is Leafmark released?

Leafmark is in development. Contact joshisijan96@gmail.com for testing and release information. Public store downloads are not yet available.

Which formats are included?

The development build includes EPUB, PDF, TXT, HTML, Markdown, FB2, unprotected MOBI/AZW/AZW3, CBZ/CBR comics, self-contained DjVu and MP3/M4A/M4B audio. Complex layouts, archive variants and device decoders have limits; physical Android and iOS validation is pending. Protected bookstore files and encrypted comic archives are unsupported.

Are my books uploaded?

Leafmark does not operate a book-upload or synchronization service. Sharing files or backups uses the destination you choose. Advertising and optional diagnostics can use an internet connection.

Does reading require an account or internet?

Local reading requires no Leafmark account. A cloud file provider may need internet to download a file before import. Ads and optional reporting are separate from local reading.

Can it unlock protected books?

No. Leafmark does not remove bookstore DRM. A password-protected PDF can be opened when you supply its password.

What should I send in a bug report?

Send the app and OS version, device model, file format, approximate file size and steps to reproduce. Retain the original and a backup. Remove private content from screenshots; do not email books or passwords unless you deliberately choose to share appropriate material.
